5K milestone!!

 

3rd Race to run and my goal was to beat my last 2 times. This was in St George for there Turket Trot 5k. Time to beat 34:04.......................Finished at a AWESOME 28:48. I was so shocked. I pushed my self to make sure I could beat my time and when I got to the end and saw the time I was in SHOCK!!! So happy. Its a great feeling.

 

MET MY GOAL!!!

 



I finally did it!! I have lost 25LBS!!! I feel so great. Now on to maintaining it and taking a little break. I would like to do 5lbs more to be where I really want to, but so glad at where I am!! A special thanks to my AWESOME hubby. He has been so supportive to watch girls while I work out and be my cheerleader at races!! He even was a waterboy for a day training for this 5K with my friends. We ran and he drove by with water bottles for us.

 

 



Disney on Ice 2013

This is our 3 time going and we love it!! Its something the whole family enjoys and it so entertaining!! This years theme was Passport to Adventure.

Naomi 911 5K

We did it!! We accomplished another 5K. This one was a super tough one. It was a trail run. Nothing like running through the forest and up and down hills. My time was only 10 seconds slower then the Apple Fest 5K. That is really good considering the difficulty of this one. TIME: 34:17  It was a super cold morning. Time to weigh in also. Total pounds lost........22lbs. WOOT WOOT!!!

Haley's 1st Fishing Trip

Haley has been dying to go fishing. Uncle Dan and Aunt Kaydee took her while we were up for my

step moms surprise birthday party!! Its nice my dad lives 2 minutes from Rockport Dam so we didnt have to go far!!

 

Apple Fest 5k 2013

I did my first 5K ever!! I never thought I would do one. I have conquered my fears and did it! It was great, I ran it in 34.05 minutes. Haley did her 1 mile race and had so much fun.

Weigh In Time!!

Im up to 19 LBS now!!!!!! Cant believe I've lost that much. Im getting ready to do my first 5k race. I must be crazy. A 5k is 3.1 miles!! I cant wait. Its been a hard but rewarding journey! I am now fitting in my HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL SHIRTS!!! Doing a little dance!!! On with the PUSH!!!!!!

WEIGHT LOSS SUCCESS!!

I have been working out for the last 10 weeks. I am down 12 lbs and have lost at least 9 to 10 inches off my body. WOW!!!! I am up to running 2 miles straight on the treadmill and also using the weight lifting equipment. It has been a journey but Im glad I started and cant wait to lose another 12lbs. I average 1-3 lbs a week. Im now pushing it to be at least 2-3 a week.

Sami & Brody's Wedding

It was great to go up for Sami's Wedding and be with family. Sami is my step sister. Haley got to be the flower girl and loved every minute of it!

Abbey's 1st Birthday

SEVEN PEAKS!! We spent the day at Seven Peaks as a family. It was a perfect day. Lots of cloud cover so NO SUN!!!

DADDY'S girl!!

Haley is so funny. Both our girls LOVE going with dad. Haley is such a farm girl and always wants to go to the farm to help dad. So one day I told her she could not go to the farm. Dad was busy and couldnt have her down their. Well she was determined to go and NO ONE was stopping her. She got her cowgirl boots on and her cowgirl hat and STARTING WALKING DOWN TO THE FARM. Bye Mom I'm walking to the farm!! Everyone has loved this picture so I'm going to enter it in the Fair and see how we do!!

24th celebration 2013

We were in charge this year of our wards 24th celebration. It was a lot of work so not many pictures. We did take a picture of Haleys awesome bike for the kids bike parade this year. I thought it would be fun to change things up this year. So we do a bike parade, there was a theme for the primary, (My Pioneer Heritage) and there were prizes to the most decorated bikes. We did Haleys bike the night before in hopes She would win. AND........ She did. She was so excited! She won a bell for her bike. There were other prizes given, but I was proud she won. Especially cause it took 2 hours to decorate!!

We decoarted in memory of our ancestor on my side Chief John Brown. He was a Cherokee Indian Chief.
